Two months into Donald Trump’s presidency, we will be screening the film “Zone of Non-Being: Guantanamo” to review the previous administration’s handling of the camp and to discuss what the future holds and how the Guantanamo story relates to the racism we encounter on the streets of Scotland. There will be a Q&A discussion with the film’s producer, Arzu Merali.
"There is a zone of nonbeing, an extraordinarily sterile and arid region, an utterly naked declivity where an authentic upheaval can be born" - Frantz Fanon
Admission Free. Donations welcome.
Screening organised by SACC, IHRC and MWAE
