Lobby rally and Deputation to Edinburgh City Council
Edinburgh City Council sets its budget on Thursday 13th February 2014 at its full council meeting. They are proposing to cut the budget by £36 million.
Edinburgh Anti Cuts Alliance is calling for a Rally, Lobby and Deputations to the meeting.
The cuts will have a serious impact on jobs, pay and the quality of services.
The Anti Cuts Alliance calls on all those groups and individuals opposed to the cuts to support, publicise and join this event.
Things start at 8.30am and will go on until the council meeting start at 10am when people can move to the public gallery to witness the budget setting process.
The timing has been set to enable as many people as possible to attend even if they can only be there for a limited period of time due to work etc.
