Stand Up to Racism and Fascism
No to scapegoating immigrants... No to Islamophobia... Yes to diversity
Rally and demonstration marking UN Anti-Racism Day
Assemble 10.30am, George Square, Glasgow
A day of action against racism and fascism in Europe has been called for by Greek anti-fascists to coincide with the marking of United Nations Anti Racist Day, 2014.
UAF has called for demonstrations on March 22nd in London, Glasgow and Cardiff to ‘Stand up to Racism and Fascism’. These can be a focus for combating racists standing in the European elections. The plan has attracted widespread support, with many national trade unions, faith groups, community groups, MSPs and MPs pledging their support to build and attend the demonstration.
In the year of the referendum in Scotland it is vital to put anti-racism and anti-fascism at the centre of the discussion whichever side of the debate you agree with.
