Scottish Demo for Palestine

A Scottish demo in solidarity with Palestine was held in Edinburgh on Saturday 9 August. Demonstrators assembled at the Mound and marched along Princes Street to a rally outside First Minister Alex Salmond's official residence in Charlotte Square.
Organisations supporting the march included: Awaz Media, Edinburgh Emergency Coordinating Committee, Edinburgh Peace and Justice Centre, Edinburgh Stop the War, Fateh UK, Glasgow Emergency Coordinating Committee, Glasgow Stop the War, Scotland Against Criminalising Communities, Scotland Stop the War, Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Scottish Womens International League for Peace and Freedom
A number of the organisations supporting the demo - including SACC - have agreed an appeal for action to build solidarity with Palestine in Scotland.
