Guantanamo Britons should come home

Following the recent revelations about torture at Guantanamo Bay, the Guantanamo Human Rights Commission is calling for Britons held there to be repatriated immediately. The Commission says that a fair trial in these circumstances is impossible. Delegates from the Commission presented a petition to foreign secretary Jack Straw. The delegation included Vanessa Redgrave and Azmat Begg, the father of detainee Moazzam Begg. Mr Begg spoke at public meetings in Scotland on 3rd, 4th and 5th June and collected signatures for the petition.
