Sheku Bayoh died in police custody in Kirkcaldy, 2015. Sheku was stopped by police and was face down on the ground in less than 42 seconds. Up to 7 officers became involved in restraining him. Within minutes he lost consciousness, stopped breathing and died.

After years of perseverence by Sheku's family and their solicitor, Aamer Anwar, the public inquiry into Sheku's death has finally begun. The public inquiry takes place at Capital Hoise, Festival Square, Edinburgh and is likely to continue for months or years.

Come along to this film showing of "A portrait of Sheku" as told by his family and friends, and hear from the Bayoh Family Justice Campaign.

All welcome. Admission free.
