Speakers include: Graham Campbell (Flag Up Scotland Jamaica), Dr Umair Khan (Scottish Indians for Justice) and a speaker from Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign
To mark the UN's International Day Against Racial Discrimination we'll be talking about the UK's racist deportation flights to Jamaica, Israeli apartheid, anti-Muslim pogroms in India and recent the racist attack on two shopkeepers in Niddrie.
The event is partly inspired by a Palestinian call to coordinate Israeli Apartheid Week events with International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination activities on March 21.
The event was originally planned as a public meeting at the Augustine United Church, Edinburgh. Due to the corona virus outbreak it will instead be held online. You will need a computer or smartphone to join the meeting.
Registration is required. Register here.
Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an email with all the information you need to join the meeting. There may be a delay before we get back to you, so please register well before the meeting is due to start.
