A number of men - some of them British citizens, most of them from overeas – are under house arrest either under control orders or on immigration bail pending government attempts to deport them on "national security" grounds.

Their fate depends not on the normal justice system, but on a a special court – the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC) – where key evidence is heard in secret.

Diane Abbott MP has an early day motion (EDM 1308) declaring "that this House believes the use of secret evidence in UK courts is fundamentally wrong." Ask your MP to support it.
